How to Fold Up a Graco Pack 'N Play Changing Table

How to Fold Up a Graco Pack 'N Play Changing Table

While the Pack N Play is simple to set up, folding the Pack N Play tends to be a frustrating task. The instructions included with the Pack N Play rarely reap the intended results on the first attempt. People often have trouble with folding one side or gathering the Pack N Play into the final folded position, so it can fit into the carry-bag. However, with practice, folding the Pack 'N Play will become as easy to fold up as it was to set up.

Instructions

    1

Remove the changing table and fold it by pulling up on the straps used for securing the baby. Pulling on the straps from the middle, the changing table folds in half. Make sure the metal hooks point up. Set aside.

    2

Remove the mattress from inside the Pack 'N Play. Open the Velcro straps to release the mattress. Set the mattress aside.

    3

Grab the handle in the center of the Pack 'N Play's floor and push in, turning to the left to unlock it. Pull the handle halfway up.

    4

Unlock the rails of the Pack 'N Play's walls by feeling for the lock under the fabric in the center on each side. Push the button on the bottom of the lock to release the rails. If the rails are not releasing, pull the handle in the center of the Pack 'N Play even higher.

    5

Pull the center handle all the way up once the side rails have all been released, bring the four corners of the pack n play together. If the Pack 'N Play does not fold together at this point, check to see if any of the rails are not fully released.

    6

Wrap the mattress around the Pack 'N Play and attach the Velcro strips. Find the corner loop on one of the leg ends and secure the remaining strap hanging from the mattress through this loop.

    7

Turn the Pack 'N Play upside down with feet facing up. Put the cover over the unit, lining up the mattress handle with the slit in the cover. Slide the folded changing table into the bag on the back side (the side with the handle is the front). Pull the bag up to enclose the entire unit and zip it shut.
