Instructions
Gold Pears
- 1
Fill the bottom of the basket with sprigs of evergreen foliage. Arrange the foliage so some of it extends beyond the edges of the basket to make it look like it is overflowing.
2Remove any stickers from the pears, and wash and dry the fruits. You should have enough pears to form a layer across the whole basket.
3Apply a thin layer of gold-colored petal dust to each pear with a paint brush. After the pear is dusted, place it in the basket. Repeat with the other pears until they are all gold-dusted and arranged in the basket.
4Spray magnolia leaves with gold-colored floral spray until the leaves are completely coated. Allow them to dry.
5Place the magnolia leaves in the basket, nestled between the pears, on top of them, or under them with the evergreen sprigs.
Wrapped Gifts
- 6
Wrap at least three or four small boxes with holiday wrapping paper. Use a few different papers for variety. Metallic gift wrap looks especially good in this centerpiece.
7Tie a piece of holiday ribbon around each wrapped box.
8Apply thin lines of craft glue to the ornaments in the shapes of snowflakes or other holiday designs, or in basic patterns, such as stripes, diamonds or swirls.
9Sprinkle glitter over the wet glue and shake off excess. Allow the ornaments to dry.
10Spread an arrangement of evergreen clippings in the center of the table.
11Set the wrapped boxes on the evergreen clippings, and arrange the ornaments on the clippings around the boxes.
