Instructions

Paint the Window Box

    1

Purchase a plastic window box from any discount or craft store.

    2

Paint the window box in a well-ventilated area with two coats of black spray paint designed for use on plastics.

    3

Allow the window box to dry overnight.

Prepare the Florist Foam

    4

Cut the florist foam to fit inside the window box. The top of the foam should be about 1/8-inch above the top of window box.

    5

Soak the foam in water for 30 minutes.

    6

Hollow out two holes in the top of the foam, 4 inches from either end of the window box. The holes should be about 2 inches deep.

    7

Line the inside of the window box with plastic wrap and place the foam inside.

Arrange the Flowers

    8

Cut the stems of the roses to 5 inches long.

    9

Line the edge of the florist foam with small sprigs of evergreen.

    10

Place the red roses in the top of the florist foam. Place a few white roses throughout to lighten the arrangement.

    11

Fill in any sparse areas with evergreen sprigs.

    12

Insert two white taper candles in the holes you made in the foam. Merry Christmas!
